2025 Ducati XDiavel V4: 3 Things You Must Know

Cruiser fans, rejoice! After a long wait, Ducati has updated its power cruiser—the XDiavel—for 2025. It becomes more powerful than ever, while promising even more swagger from head to toe. More importantly, this takes over from the Diavel V4 to become Ducati’s new flagship cruiser. It’s priced like that, too, starting from $28,995. Here are three things you must know about it.

The Most Powerful Ducati XDiavel Ever

Believe it or not, the XDiavel is almost a decade old in 2025. It first came out in 2016 and served as the fastest-accelerating Ducati from zero to 62 mph. While the brand isn’t making any such claims this time, the XDiavel has become the most powerful self in its nine-year history. Credit for that goes to its Granturismo V4 engine with 168 horsepower and 93 pound-feet. That’s eight more than the outgoing V-twin version.

To put all that power down, Ducati has armed the new XDiavel V4 with high-quality mechanicals. A monocoque chassis sits as the centerpiece, suspended onto 50 mm USD forks and a monoshock. Both ends join hands with 17-inch alloy wheels and boast full adjustability. You also get Brembo Stylema brakes with huge 330 mm disc brakes at the front.

Electronic aids are aplenty, too. A whopping near-7-inch display lets you toggle through ride modes, power modes, wheelie control, and cornering ABS. A bi-directional quickshifter lets you bang through the gears in the quickest way possible.

An Unmatched Design Full Of Svelte

In its nine-year life, the XDiavel has always been a head-turner. So it’s only fair the V4 version retains the pizzaz. Accordingly, the latest model flaunts a set of star-shaped diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear wheel is put on full display, courtesy of the sleek and sexy tail section with the single-sided swingarm.

Likewise, the middle and front halves are full of svelte. The large air intakes from the Diavel are replaced by sleek sequential LED indicators and new radiator shrouds. Rounding things off is a new, curvy headlight and new saddles for both occupants. Speaking of which, your tushy now sits atop a spoon-shaped saddle while the legs go on forward-set pegs. The arms rest on a flat handlebar mounted on risers, ensuring a laid-back triangle.
