The Most Powerful American Cruiser Of 2025
The number of cruiser motorcycles in the market is at an all-time high. Chinese, Indian, European—all kinds of companies have stepped into the segment and truly shaken the throne once held by American giants. But in 2025, there’s one US brand that’s taking the fight to all the metric names. We’re talking about Buell—the company that’s home to America’s most powerful cruiser bike today. Allow GoodBikeBadBike to tell you all about it.
The Buell Super Cruiser Is The Most Powerful American Cruiser Of 2025

For a long time, we haven’t seen a proper all-American cruiser with a high emphasis on performance. The Buell Super Cruiser aims to be exactly that. Credit here goes to its high-revving V-Twin derived straight from the Hammerhead sports bike. There, the V-twin produces 185 horsepower but here, you get 175 horsepower to make things a bit controllable. Lightweight materials and track-ready hardware help the engine do its thing, so you can have the utmost fun aboard the bike. All this while, you should know we’ve seen several iterations since the first reveal in 2023, but the final production form of the Super Cruiser is still unclear. Several details are still known, though, including the price.
2025 Buell Super Cruiser Engine Specifications
Engine | 1,190cc, V-twin |
Bore X Stroke | 106.0 X 67.5mm |
Power | 175 HP |
Torque | 102 LB-FT |
Transmission | Six-speed |
The Buell Super Cruiser Is Priced At $25,900

Speaking of price, Buell will sell the Super Cruiser for $25,900. At that price, the cruiser costs more than the Harley-Davidson Low Rider, Indian Sport Chief, and the Triumph Rocket 3 Storm. But it undercuts the Ducati Diavel V4 by a sizable $1,800. Things get better if you’ve already pre-booked the bike in one of the early days. That’s because you can then get the bike for as low as $23,900. Still pricey, we know, but it’s well-justified considering what’s on offer.
To give you a brief idea, the Super Cruiser has many impressive bits other than the engine. It is said to have 17-inch alloy wheels where the front one has Buell’s staple perimeter disc brake for maximum stopping power. This, along with a stripped back design and use of lightweight materials, helps the cruiser weigh around 480 pounds. That’s even less than Harley’s smallest cruiser: the Nightster!
