The Most Powerful Harley-Davidson Low Rider Is Coming Soon
Let’s face it, Harley-Davidson’s announcement of the 2025 Street Glide left all of us wanting more. And it appears more is what we’ll get in the next installment of the company’s lineup. In particular, the American giant has an updated Low Rider for us to enjoy. This will be the most powerful model in the Low Rider lineup ever since its inception back in the 1970s.
The 2025 Harley-Davidson Low Rider Will Have Over 110 Horsepower
According to documents sourced by Motorcycle.com, the Low Rider S is about to receive a shot in the arm. It will boast Harley-Davidson’s new Milwaukee-Eight 117 High Output engine that produces an impressive 114 horsepower. This is a sizable 11 more than the existing Low Rider duo. What makes up the “High Output” treatment is a mystery as of now, but we can expect it to be similar to the CVO Road Glide ST. That has a different intake, reworked engine internals, and a different state of tune over the non-ST model.
To make matters sweeter, the 2025 Low Rider duo will be lighter than the existing bikes. The S will shed 6.6 pounds, weighing in at roughly 673 pounds (wet), whereas the ST would be lighter by 8.8 pounds to weigh in under 715 pounds. It’s unlikely you’ll feel the drop in weight, but this is a welcome change nevertheless. Again, how Harley-Davidson has achieved this is a mystery, until the official release comes through.
Engine | Milwaukee-Eight 117, V-twin |
Power | 114 HP |
Torque | NA |
Transmission | Six-speed |
Weight | ~673 pounds (S)/~715 pounds (ST) |
The New Harley-Davidson Low Rider Will Break Cover In The Last Days Of January, 2025
Last but not least, the updated Low Rider lineup is expected to break cover on January 23, 2025. The duo will debut alongside Harley-Davidson’s remaining 2025 range. We also know a Street Glide Ultra is on its way, and so is a new Breakout 117. We’d suggest hanging tight and tuning into GoodbikeBadbike for all the latest details.
